I would like to see bennett with crosby and either kuni or duper move to genos line. Bennett is clearly not the type of player to crash the boards and forecheck. Neal does forecheck, but not as hard as kuni and dupe. IMO thats what geno and neal are missing.
The only thing i did notice about bennett is that he isnt very physical. He has good size, so I hope he uses it a bit more. get in those board battles and help out. But for his 1st couple games in the NHL, he is doing quite well. its sad that hes already an improvement over tangradi |

Do it, and leave them together for more than 3 shifts. |

This may be a bit far fetched but if the Caps end up toppling, would Ribeiro be someone anyone would be interested in???
He's making $5 million, but he's an RFA after this season |

I'm leaning towards "no". Has skill, but he's a bit soft (and whiny lol).
He would probably cost too much for what he's worth. |

And he's a top 6 centerman, I don't think we need another one of those. |

Fair enough. Just thought if we were throwing out veterans with deals coming to an end that may be available I would mention him. For the record, Cullen works better for me. Probably wouldn't have so many expectations. Iginla would be ridiculously overdue. If we're talking higher end I say Clowe or Stewart. |

I thought I was the only one, but I read a two sites today that shero talked to the avs about ror. my instinct was right last year with jagr (about them going after him, not about him turning so nasty) my instinct after shero was at the wild/avs game said ror. shero might want to get back to that 3 center deep (not that i don;t like sutter) style. anyway, I got lots of vitriol when I last brought this up, but now I'm hearing shero inquired about ror... interesting |

So am I to assume Despres won't be in the lineup tomorrow because Dan doesn't want to subject him to physicality?
This decision is baffling. The guy should be in there night in and night out. |

A reasonably priced veteran that can still contribute in certain areas, and has a Cup ring. Yeah, I wouldn't mind the move. |

oh, he quotes Bruce "Malkin to the Kings" Garrioch.
Seriously though, I would hope that Shero has spoken to the Avs. Not that I want Ryan O'Reilly (for what he would cost), but I've heard Shero say that he touches base with all teams every couple of weeks to see what is going on. He should be checking on who's out there.

For some reason, they were Leaf's fans............Leaf trolls always crack me up, because as a franchise, they haven't done anything in 40+ years. It would be like Pirates fans trolling, and the Pirates actually have won 2 championships since the Leafs won their last. |

just thought it interesting. shero has always gone off the board with his trades, and almost always wins, so I found that interesting. |

Could you imagine if they won a cup? I would seriously have to stop using the internet to talk hockey. It would be awful. |

According to Ek, the Penguins are willing to "duke it out" with the Rangers to aquire Perry from the Ducks. |
